My goal: To create added value – for people, the environment and companies.
Value-oriented action and continuous improvement are the approaches that support me. I try to achieve as many multiplier effects as possible and make a continuous contribution to setting positive impulses – and I learn something new every day.
Following Karl Popper’s philosophy, I try to approach the truth bit by bit in an iterative process – or, in my case, a sustainable economic model.
Responsibility as an opportunity – Achieving impact together
Every decision leaves its mark – especially in entrepreneurship. That’s why I invest 10% of my profits in socially effective projects to actively help shape positive change. The amount flows transparently and comprehensibly for everyone into the “Mediation Theresa Vormbaum Foundation”.
The projects are selected annually together with an independent committee of experts. We centre on initiatives that bring together meditative practice with participatory design to cultivate inclusive dialogue and alignment.

Sustainability in practice – A pragmatic approach
As a service provider, I keep my consumption of resources as low as possible – but I still use technology, electricity, and social media. This has ecological effects. Through my studies and experience in the field of sustainability, I know that a pure CO₂ calculation often falls short. Every environmental factor has a different effect – water consumption, energy, material.
That’s why I rely on a pragmatic approach:
- Do I really need this?
- Are there more sustainable alternatives?
- What pollutes the environment the most – and how can I reduce it?
I observe trends critically: Just because something sounds “green” doesn’t automatically make it better. Longevity, repairability and the real impact are crucial for me. If it is helpful to write on paper by hand, because other neuronal connections in the brain are activated, then the question for me is always what is best for my customers and conflict resolution.
Conflicts cost
Conflicts and dissatisfaction in the workplace can represent a significant financial burden for companies, as dissatisfaction in the team leads to fluctuation and loss of productivity. Scientific studies have identified various cost factors that are relevant in this context:
Time wasters
of working time flows into conflict management. Managers are sometimes occupied with this for up to 50% of the week.
